Council-Led Housing Reform Programme
This public–private partnership initiative was led by a local authority to transform asset compliance and housing governance systems. The programme focused on integrating tenant engagement strategies and advanced digital risk models to improve regulatory performance and operational transparency. By leveraging both public oversight and private sector innovation, the initiative delivered measurable improvements in housing compliance, resilience, and service quality.
Affordable Housing Policy Advisory (Global South)
Led the development of a national affordability matrix and housing finance frameworks, successfully adopted by central government agencies and recognised by international donors. The advisory contributed to shaping inclusive housing policy, mobilising blended finance, and influencing national strategies on affordability and access in the Global South.

Sky Tail Tower
Delivered a sustainability upgrade for a historic community sports venue. The project, led by volunteers, integrated energy performance certification (EPC), solar feasibility assessments, and a governance framework to ensure effective stakeholder coordination throughout.
Faith-Inspired Housing Innovation
Led the design and delivery of the Mid-Home transitional housing concept, providing a structured pathway from housing crisis to secure tenure. This model supports individuals and families through a faith-rooted, community-oriented approach to housing recovery and stability.

Community Infrastructure Retrofit (UK)
Context and Role
Acted as strategic lead for a volunteer-led retrofit of a historic community sports facility facing closure due to damp and outdated infrastructure. The project aimed to make the site energy efficient, accessible, and safe for long-term use.Strategic Challenge
Funding was limited, and the facility lacked both an energy strategy and compliance plan. Usage was mostly restricted to older users and women’s groups, highlighting a gap in inclusive infrastructure.Leadership Response
Secured in-kind donations and retrofit grants. Oversaw the full upgrade lifecycle, including EPC-compliant design, regulatory permissions, and phased works delivery. Facilitated community consultations and stakeholder briefings to embed shared ownership.Outcomes and Legacy
Energy rating improved from Band G to Band C. Usage increased by 46 percent, with new programmes launched for women’s sports. The project received recognition for sustainable refurbishment and now serves as a retrofit demonstration site supported through blended funding.

Faith-Inspired Housing Innovation
Context and Role
Conceived and led development of the Mid-Home concept, a transitional housing model bridging emergency accommodation and long-term tenancies. Designed in collaboration with faith groups, MPs, and housing practitioners.Strategic Challenge
Local authorities and community partners lacked interim housing options for those exiting crisis support. Existing housing stock was not suitable as a dignified transition stage before permanent housing.Leadership Response
Defined a rights-based, small-footprint housing model centred on lived experience. Developed implementation frameworks, supported site pilots, and gained advocacy from interfaith coalitions and elected officials.Outcomes and Legacy
The model has gained traction in national policy forums and is under review by councils for integration into housing strategies. Praised for balancing dignity, flexibility, and realism, the initiative continues through advocacy channels such as NAASIR and local interfaith networks.
