Dr Asad Jalal Sindhu (PhD, MRICS, MCIOB) is an internationally recognised consultant in housing, sustainable infrastructure, and urban development. With over a decade of strategic advisory experience across the UK, Gulf, and South Asia, Dr Sindhu’s work bridges technical delivery and policy transformation.
He is the founder of AJS Consultant and has advised UN agencies, national housing programmes, city councils, and private sector developers. His expertise includes climate-resilient design, SDG localisation, and inclusive finance models for urban systems.

I am Dr. Asad Jalal Sindhu, a housing and infrastructure consultant with over a decade of experience advising public and private sector clients across the United Kingdom, Pakistan, and the Gulf region. My work focuses on delivering sustainable, resilient, and inclusive development solutions that respond to complex, real-world challenges.
I began my career rooted in construction management and technical design. Over time, it became clear that delivering meaningful impact required more than engineering—it demanded systems thinking, integrated governance, and policy fluency. That realisation guided my transition into sustainable development consultancy.
Today, I support governments, multilateral agencies, NGOs, and housing authorities to deliver projects that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), comply with national frameworks, and address community needs at scale.
I hold a PhD in Sustainable Urban Development and am a Chartered Member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB). My academic and professional background enables me to bridge research, delivery, and governance with equal strength.
